Digital Marketing Specialist (SEO specialization)

What we're looking for
In a context of growth, we are looking for a Digital Marketing SEO Specialist with strong SEO expertise and a solid understanding of GEO to join our team. This role is grounded in the execution of concrete and effective organic tactics. You will work across a variety of mandates, in collaboration with content, performance, and technology experts.
We are looking for someone comfortable with day-to-day operations, capable of implementing SEO best practices and ensuring rigorous follow-through. You will contribute to website optimization in various contexts (redesigns, migrations, ongoing optimization), applying established recommendations and actively participating in their evolution.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Implement and execute SEO strategies (technical, content, authority) while integrating GEO best practices;
- Contribute to the development of SEO plans (technical implementation guides, redirect plans, etc.);
- Conduct competitive analyses and audits: keywords, brand authority, backlinks, etc.;
- Perform social SEO (Facebook, YouTube, etc.);
- Participate in website redesign projects (SEO audit, information architecture, technical recommendations);
- Identify organic optimization opportunities and escalate them to relevant stakeholders;
- Execute digital initiatives based on established recommendations, from implementation to monitoring;
- Ensure the quality and consistency of SEO deliverables (tracking, dashboards, performance reports, etc.);
- Collaborate closely with content, UX, development, and paid media teams;
- Prepare and present performance reports to clients (KPIs, insights, recommendations);
- Participate in client exchanges in support of strategists and account managers;
- Stay current with trends in SEO, AI search, and digital marketing.
Required Qualifications and Characteristics
- 2 to 4 years of experience in digital marketing, with a strong specialization in SEO;
- Significant agency experience, a major asset;
- Experience with website redesigns and SEO migrations;
- Good understanding of GEO / AI search challenges, a major asset;
- Proficiency in SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, PeecAi, etc.);
- Strong command of Google Analytics;
- Experience with Google Tag Manager and dashboarding tools (Looker Studio), an asset;
- Knowledge of CMS platforms (WordPress, WooCommerce) and HTML, an asset;
- Experience with CRMs (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho), an asset;
- Google / Meta certifications, an asset;
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent;
- Proficiency in French, both spoken and written; functional knowledge of English would be an asset.
