Senior Web Project Manager

We are looking for a Web project manager:

Reporting to the project office, the ideal candidate must have at least 10 years of experience in information technology, including 7 to 8 years managing medium and large-scale projects in a web marketing environment.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Act as a contact person for our clients to maintain a solid and collaborative relationship with clients and ensure their ongoing satisfaction
  • Develop project, risk management and mitigation plans
  • Communicate any unexpected challenges affecting the project’s completion to the client and internal team  
  • Supervise various work teams (UX-UI design, development, SEO, cybermetrics, quality assurance and infrastructure) throughout the entire project
  • Plan and oversee the team’s progress on a regular basis
  • Maintain outstanding client contact by apprising them of the progress of projects  
  • Manage and supervise the three main project areas: scope (what the project does and does not include), budgets and timeline
  • Guarantee the quality of the projects by applying the agency’s methodology  
  • Work with various clients within the same company, and work as a team with other project managers, account managers and consulting managers to help the internal team and clients   
  • Participate in defining and analyzing client needs and advise clients as needed
  • Identify business opportunities with clients and communicate them to the sales coordinator  
  • Monitor project progress (hours, budget, invoicing) and deliveries to the client
  • Contribute to defining the project strategy in order to address the client’s objectives  
  • Establish, control and review the project schedule throughout its implementation
  • Contribute to the functional analysis and guarantee any associated deliverables  
  • Coordinate the project team’s work by ensuring that resources and information related to the project are shared among team members
  • Assign tasks to members of the project team, while respecting the agency’s methodology
  • Anticipate risks and provide mitigation measures
  • Help prepare service offers when needed
  • Help coach new project managers when needed

You are the right person if you have:

  • 10 years in project management, including 3 years with experience in Agile project management
  • Experience in managing several multidisciplinary projects simultaneously
  • Excellent French and English skills, spoken and written
  • Able to work with multidisciplinary teams
  • Skilled at adapting to a new environment
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel
  • Knowledge of MS Project
  • Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
  • PMP certification, an asset
  • Scrum certification, an asset
