We are looking for a Senior HR Advisor — a versatile, human-centred and solution-oriented resource who enjoys both supporting managers in their day-to-day work and contributing to the evolution of the agency's culture and HR practices.

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources and Talent Acquisition, you will be a trusted resource for managers and members of the Tink team. A true culture guardian and driver of the employee experience, you will cover the entire employment lifecycle.

Note: The recruitment component is handled by the Talent Acquisition department, with which you will collaborate closely.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Act as a close HR partner to managers, advising them on best practices and supporting them through complex situations (performance, discipline, conflicts, accommodations and departures);
  • Support managers in conducting performance evaluations and ensure consistent and fair interpretation of HR policies throughout the organization;
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders to ensure the proper functioning of programs and day-to-day department operations, in collaboration with the HR team;
  • Participate in the management and follow-up of labour relations files: internal investigations, complaints, progressive measures and departure management (layoffs, release meetings);
  • Act as a reference point and monitor legal obligations related to Quebec labour law (Act Respecting Labour Standards, pay equity, LSST, Law 25, etc.) and advise the organization accordingly;
  • Participate in pay equity initiatives and annual salary review and adjustment exercises, including the update of salary grids;
  • Lead the annual evaluation process ensuring rigorous follow-up;
  • Collaborate with managers on the development and follow-up of individual development plans for team members;
  • Contribute to the deployment of internal training programs and facilitate workshops on communication profiles (colour approach) to strengthen collaboration;
  • Manage short-term disability (STD) files, including pre-STD meetings, return-to-work plans, employment insurance files and liaison with Service Canada;
  • Ensure follow-up on long-term disability (LTD) files, the PSCM program, as well as CNESST files (declarations, follow-ups, contestations);
  • Coordinate the renewal of the group insurance plan and answer team members' questions regarding employee benefits (group insurance, BNC Trust and FTQ collective RRSPs);
  • Manage immigration files (documentation, government platforms) and remote work requests from abroad, ensuring compliance with applicable legal and tax obligations;
  • Create, update and evolve Tink's HR policies, procedures and guides;
  • Ensure document management for the HR department, including compliance with applicable ISO standards;
  • In collaboration with the HR assistant, produce and manage payroll, including data validation and timesheets (WTS);
  • Manage various WTS reports and ensure data reliability related to payroll;
  • Actively contribute to employer brand initiatives, in line with Tink's values and culture.

Required Qualifications and Characteristics

  • A minimum of 6 to 10 years of experience in an HR advisor role, ideally in an agency, professional services or small-to-medium growing company context;
  • Solid knowledge of Quebec labour laws (labour standards, pay equity, LSST, etc.) and the ability to apply them practically;
  • Proven experience in labour relations, performance management and manager support;
  • Strong listening skills, high emotional intelligence and an empathetic yet rigorous approach to managing sensitive situations;
  • Ability to work with complete confidentiality and maintain the trust of both managers and employees;
  • Autonomy, resourcefulness and a good balance between accountability and team spirit;
  • Good command of office tools (Office Suite) and comfort with HRIS systems;
  • A bachelor's degree in human resources management, industrial relations or a related field;
  • The CPHR designation (or in the process of obtaining it) is an asset;
  • Excellent command of French, both orally and in writing; a functional knowledge of English is required for this position.
