 Camille Morin, directrice services-conseils

Passionate about management, marketing, and business development, Camille Morin joined Tink in November 2024 as Director of Services and Consulting (DSC), bringing over a decade of experience to our team! Learn more about her motivations, interests, and daily life within our large family.

In a few words, how would you describe your position and daily routine?

As Director of Services and Consulting, I am the frontline person in contact with clients. My fellow DSCs and I represent Tink's expertise in proposing relevant digital solutions that meet the business needs of the companies we work with.

My role involves representing our clients internally, as well as understanding their needs, realities, challenges, and ambitions. It's a highly relational role on a daily basis, as I am often called upon to take part in client meetings to discuss ongoing or upcoming projects, or internal coordination meetings to talk about requirements for new projects.

Being a DSC means always being at the forefront, working with experts to suggest the best path for our clients to innovate and achieve their digital goals.

According to you, what are the skills and qualities that a person must demonstrate to occupy a position like yours?

The key is to have excellent social skills and enjoy human contact to maintain fruitful business relationships. Good listening skills, empathy, and leadership qualities are also essential for effectively managing the teams involved in a project. Finally, I would say that resilience, tenacity, and proactivity are necessary to be successful in this profession!

What have you learned since joining Tink?

Even though I've only been here a few months, I must say that I've already learned a lot about e-commerce and the technical components involved in a digital project (programming interfaces, product information management, etc.). I've also developed more advanced knowledge in web analytics.

On a more personal level, my first months at Tink have allowed me to develop my leadership skills and my ability to rally all the stakeholders of a project around a common objective, even during more challenging times.

What do you like about Tink, and what makes you want to stay?

I was quickly impressed by my colleagues' high level of rigor and expertise on a daily basis. The whole team takes their roles very seriously, and each person truly contributes to the common success of a project. There's a genuine desire to succeed as a team at Tink, and you can really feel it!

What is your proudest professional accomplishment?

Simply being able to fully understand a client's reality, to build a proposal that meets their needs, and to hear them testify to their success after a project is completed. It might sound cliché, but it's truly rewarding to know that you've had a concrete impact on their outcomes and to be able to advise them on how to achieve their goals!

How would you describe the work atmosphere at Tink?

I work in a dynamic team, with complementary skills and profiles who never hesitate to give advice, help each other, challenge each other, share experiences and grow both collectively and individually. Yes, there's a lot of pressure on our shoulders, but we laugh a lot too, and it makes our days so much fun!

For you, working at Tink means having the opportunity to...?

For me, working at Tink is a chance to work in the most promising field of marketing: digital! It allows me to better understand digital strategies, data usage, and various technologies. Mastering these aspects has become a considerable asset nowadays, and Tink constantly provides me with opportunities to refine these skills.

What advice would you give to future employees in your field?

Being able to put yourself in someone else's shoes, whether it's our clients or our colleagues, is the first piece of advice I would give. What's more, being open and empathetic when facing certain issues is always beneficial! Therefore, I would tell future DSCs to always develop their curiosity and ask as many questions as necessary to clarify each situation: you need to have a clear, transparent understanding of your clients' needs so that you are always well aligned with them.
