Context and Mandate
South Shore Furniture is a family-owned company based in Quebec that has specialized in the design and sale of ready-to-assemble furniture since 1940.
Primarily focused on selling through retailers (B2B), South Shore Furniture was also looking to expand its direct-to-consumer (D2C) sales to diversify its revenue streams. To achieve this, the company launched a major overhaul of its transactional website in 2022, with the goal of improving the online shopping experience and turning it into a true growth driver. They entrusted us with the mission of completely rethinking their e-commerce environment by implementing a high-performance Shopify Plus store equipped with custom connectors to integrate with SAP, their internal ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system.

Roadmap
To address the needs of South Shore Furniture’s website, our digital strategy experts first traveled to the company’s head office in Ste-Croix-de-Lotbinière to meet with local teams and lead a series of workshops. Following these sessions, our strategists delivered a comprehensive strategic roadmap, which included a digital audit, a content strategy, and SEO recommendations.
UX/UI Design
Once the digital strategy was defined, we supported South Shore Furniture in creating UX/UI wireframes and designing the new website. This phase was essential before configuring and developing their new online store.

Website Development and Integration with Enterprise Systems
In addition to configuring South Shore Furniture’s Shopify store, we developed a custom connector to interface the company’s internal systems (SAP) with the Shopify platform. This integration allows for seamless synchronization of product and customer data.
